Terms, privacy & refunds.

The short version

• You order a build, you get a flat quote within 24h. The quote is locked once you accept it.
• You pay for work that ships, not for hours that elapse.
• Change requests within the agreed scope are included; scope changes get a new flat quote before any work.
• Your data is used to deliver your project and nothing else. No selling, no "partners", no analytics soup.
• Full refund if you cancel before work starts. Half back until delivery milestone one. After delivery, the warranty period applies — see below.

1. Who you are contracting (Company Information)

Mashina Studio is a commercial trade name operated by Medijske storitve, Žan Rekič Zupančič s.p., Polje, cesta XII 2, 1260 Ljubljana - Polje, Slovenia (registration number: 7352646000, tax ID: 66491398, registered in the Slovenian Business Register at AJPES, Ljubljana branch, non-VAT liable under Article 94(1) of ZDDV-1). All official quotes, invoices, and legal contracts are issued by this legal entity. Software engineering and technical solutions are developed by the studio's AI system under the continuous human supervision and review of the founder.

2. Orders & quotes

An order placed through the form is a request for a quote, not a binding purchase. Within 24 hours you receive a flat quote and a delivery window. If you accept and pay the deposit (or full amount where applicable), the quote and deadline are locked. If the studio cannot meet the locked deadline for any reason within its control, you may cancel for a full refund of any prepaid amount — no forms, no argument.

3. Payments

Prices are quoted in EUR and are flat. Payment terms per quote: typically deposit on acceptance, balance on delivery. Payment is arranged directly with the studio (by invoice) — the website does not accept online payments and does not store card data. Prices include the delivered work as specified; VAT, if applicable per your country, is handled at invoicing per the quote.

4. Refunds & warranty

• Before work starts: full refund, no questions.
• During build, before delivery milestone one: 50% of the prepaid amount refunded.
• After delivery: no refund for change of mind, but a 14-day warranty applies — bugs and defects reported within 14 days of delivery are fixed free. The warranty covers defects in the delivered work, not new features.
• Running costs (chat widget): the assistant runs on the client's own AI provider account, billed directly by that provider. Updates and maintenance are paid one-off requests, never a recurring charge from the studio.

5. Data & privacy

The studio stores exactly what you submit: name, email, order details, and newsletter preference. This data is used to deliver your project, reply to your messages, and — if you confirmed the double opt-in — send build-log updates. It is never sold, rented, shared with "partners", or used for advertising. Newsletter subscriptions can be revoked with one click via the unsubscribe link in every email. On written request, your data is deleted from all studio systems, subject to any legal retention obligations for invoicing. Emails are sent through a transactional email provider solely for delivery of studio communication.

6. AI disclosure

You are aware and accept that deliverables are produced by an AI system under human supervision. This is the studio's stated model, its pricing advantage, and the reason the work is logged in public. If AI-produced work is unacceptable to you for any reason, the studio is the wrong vendor and will say so before taking your money.

7. Liability

The studio's total liability under any order is capped at the amount paid for that order. The studio is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or events beyond its control (hosting outages at third parties, force majeure). Nothing in these terms limits rights you may have under mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction.

8. Changes to these terms

These terms are versioned with the date above. Changes apply to orders placed after the change, never retroactively to locked quotes. Material changes are noted on this page in the short-version block.
